Exercise Can be Fun People that are battling   mesothelioma cancer  know that any cancer treatment is can take a serious toll on their bodies. Cancer treatments are often accompanied by nausea, fatigue, depression and even vomiting, which can make the lives of cancer patients even more strained than they already are. When a doctor looks at a patient and informs them that they are living with cancer and will need to start a treatment program to help them get rid of their cancer, they are going to experience some severe emotions. These feelings can vary; most people feel confusion, sadness, anger, defeat, depression and even fear. While these are all perfectly normal, a person going through cancer treatment needs to be as strong as possible and capable of handling the ups and down of treatment. This means making major lifestyle changes that will be for the better. One change that doctors are encouraging patients to make as soon as possible is to start incorporating exercise into their daily lives. Physical fitness is important to everyone that wants to live a healthier, happier life. Not only is physical fitness good for a person’s body, both inside and out, it is also beneficial towards, their personality and their mental well-being. In fact, emotional well-being is also something that comes along with exercise. This increase in health and the feelings of happiness and health that exercise promotes will help cancer patients to live a better quality life, which is extremely important when fighting cancer. Those who get enough exercise when they are dealing with cancer and their cancer treatments will also experience a significant decrease in the side effects of their treatment, such as nausea and vomiting. They will feel less depression and they will not feel fatigued. Doctors are now recommending that everyone get at least 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise. For those who do not care to go to the gym and hate the idea of exercising, moderate exercise does not have to be difficult. In fact, it can be downright fun. Moderate exercise can include anything from taking a walk to going swimming to taking dance lessons to participating in a game of beach volleyball. Almost anything that requires getting up and getting active is considered exercise, which makes it that much easier for people to do, even those who are not a fan of exercising. The benefits of physical fitness along with cancer and the subsequent treatment are tremendous. A person that has cancer can reduce their risk of having cancer again by working out at least 150 minutes per week. This reduced risk is as much as 40 percent. With so many benefits from exercise, it is amazing more people are not doing it. Consult your doctor and find a workout regimen that best suits you and your needs and get out there and start moving!

Improved energy is not only beneficial in the gym. Greater levels of energy can prove to be incredibly helpful when you go about your day. Who wants to be sluggish or dragging their feet all the time? With improved HGH levels, you won’t have to feel drained and tired.

Exercise is a great cancer fighter. The biggest reason is oxygenation. When we work out, we breathe more, when we breathe more, the body takes in more oxygen!
